Arithmetic on the values you set, not a forecast. Stripe is charged at its published UK standard rate of 1.5% + 20p for domestic cards; your own Stripe pricing may differ. Deposits are assumed to be collected on every booking and retained in full when a client does not attend, which depends on the policy you set and the notice given. Fees are charged against every deposit, including the bookings that go ahead — on those the card fee is brought forward rather than added, so the net position shown is the pessimistic reading.
Reading the result
Three things the number does not say.
Count the slot, not just the fee
A missed two-hour colour is two hours you could not sell to anyone else. The service price is the honest figure to use, not the deposit you wish you had taken.
A deposit is a filter, not a fine
Most of the value is in the bookings that never get made because someone was not serious. That does not show up in this arithmetic, which is why it is deliberately conservative.
Set the window before the money
The deposit is only enforceable if the cancellation window was shown and agreed at booking. Decide the notice period first, then the amount.
